CoDic (CONEX Common Dictionary) is a context-free dictionary, consisting of 93546 English words, 20446 Chinese words, and 190001 general word senses (i.e., general concepts). This number is constantly expanding to cover a wide range of concepts.

A word in CoDic follows the standard of Sign Description Framework (SDF). It contains at least an IID attribute and a definition attribute such that the meaning identified by an iid is defined by a word definition (def).

CoDic is collaboratively built from a CONEX vocabulary editor. Current Conex editor supports English and Chinese. The below figure is the user interface of Conex Editor for creating and editing Conex Words.
