Biography

Dr. Wai-Meng Quach is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at the University of Macau (UM); and an Associate Editor for Advances in Structural Engineering An International Journal. He was the Head of the CEE Department at the University of Macau, the founding Chairman of Executive Board of the Macau Society of Metal Structures (MSMS), and the Honorary Advisor of the Macau Construction Association (MCA). He was also the academic advisor of The Macau lnstitution of Engineers (AEM), the advisor of MSMS, and the Member-at-Large of the Hong Kong Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (HKSTAM). He is also the academic advisor of The Macau lnstitution of Engineers (AEM), a member (MASCE) of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), a charter member of the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) of ASCE, and a full member (MIIFC) of the International Institute for FRP in construction (IIFC).
